The sound installation How to make a Fire is conceived for an old industrial chimney. Up to 5 listeners sit in the completely dark chimney for around 10 minutes and listen to the soundpiece.
A meditative speech by a female voice guides into a deep listening experience.
The spoken text refers to the historical place, the perception of the listeners own body, the physical aspects and different sound layers of a fire.
Besides recordings of a fire there are reproduced fire sounds appering in the composition.
